Wayne Karpoff came to Willowglen after three decades of founding companies with industry changing technologies. He was attracted to the automation sector because of the enormous potential for a new generation of technology to radically improve the world we live in. This is especially important now as the industry must address major challenges in operational efficiency, environmental stewardship, safety and reliability. His combined technical and business background allows him to bridge evolving technologies, customer challenges and aspirations, market trends, research and development, and business to create a company that can be a market leader in delivering next generation automation products.
Wayne’s favorite part of his job is brainstorming with clients what the world ‘could be’. Prior to joining Willowglen in 2009, he led companies in distributed storage and supercomputing. Wayne mentors start-up technology companies in many sectors, and sits on many community boards.
